CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-159 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING CULTURAL PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received a staff report (SR 98:329) from the Director of Parks and <br /> Community Services regarding a proposed Cultural Plan for the City of Pleasanton <br /> as recommended by the Civic Arts Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this plan is the result of a year-long process which included extensive public input <br /> from key community leaders, local arts organizations, focused group meetings, <br /> informal surveys, market and demographic statistics, and public hearings. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby adopts the Cultural Plan, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become efl~ctive immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 1, 1998 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Peggy ~.~dro, Ciqy Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO F~4~C <br />Michael H.
