CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> as Board of Directors of Laurel Creek Estates <br /> Geologic Hazard Abatement District <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-150 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING LAUREL CREEK ESTATES <br /> GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT BUDGET <br /> AND APPROVING REPAIR, MAINTENANCE AND <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 18, 1997, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton adopted <br /> Resolution No. 97-135, approving the formation of a Geologic Hazard Abatement <br /> District ("GHAD") for the Laurel Creek Estates area and appointing the City <br /> Council as the Board of Directors of the GHAD; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS,. on November 18, 1997, the Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 97-136, <br /> appointing officers for the GHAD; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order for the GHAD to proceed to implement efficiently the GHAD Plan of <br /> Control and to undertake repair, maintenance and improvement projects and <br /> related operation, it is necessary to approve an annual budget and a repair, <br /> maintenance and improvement program. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Board hereby approves the Geologic Hazard Abatement District budget, <br /> which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Board hereby approves the GHAD Repair, Maintenance and Improvement <br /> Program, which is attached hereto as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
