,~~.~..~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-144 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPENSATION PLAN <br /> FOR CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, compensation for the City's confidential employees is set forth in the Management <br /> and Confidential Compensation Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, although the City Council adopted a revised Management and Confidential <br /> Compensation Plan on August 18, 1998, revised salary adjustments, as reflected in <br /> the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Pleasanton and <br /> the Pleasanton City Employees Association (PCEA), require that the salary control <br /> point for the Senior Office Assistant-Confidential classification increase by 1% to <br /> match the salary range of the PCEA represented classification of Senior Office <br /> Assistant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this adjustment ensures salary conformity among classifications with similar duties <br /> and responsibilities within the organization; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The salary control point for the Senior Office Assistant-Confidential classification <br /> for the period November 1, 1998 through August 31, 1999, shall be as set forth in <br /> Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 17, 1998 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
