CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-143 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE <br /> PLEASANTON CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (PCEA), <br /> AMENDING SALARIES AND CONDITIONS OF <br /> EMPLOYMENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES OF <br /> EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE 1998-99 BUDGET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer <br /> representative of the City Council, and representatives of the Pleasanton City <br /> Employees Association have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Section 3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours and other <br /> terms and conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton City <br /> Employees Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process a proposed Memorandum <br /> of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City <br /> Employees Association was presented to the City Council at the meeting of <br /> November 3, 1998. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City Employees <br /> Association for a term commencing November 1, 1998 and ending October 31, <br /> 2000. <br /> <br />Section 2: The employees' class titles and salary ranges to be paid by the City of Pleasanton <br /> to all employees in the Pleasanton City Employees Association during the period <br /> November 1, 1998 through October 31, 1999, shall be set forth in Exhibit "A" . <br /> <br />Section 3: The budget for fiscal year 1998/99 is hereby amended to reflect those changes <br /> enumerated in Exhibit "A". <br /> <br /> <br />
