CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-136 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br /> (ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY <br /> STREETS) TO ESTABLISH A FOUR-WAY STOP AT <br /> SONOMA DRIVE AND JUNIPERO STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution <br /> Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 20, 1998, the City Council received a staff report <br /> (SR:98:273) from the Director of Public Works related to a request to install an <br /> all-way stop at the intersection of Sonoma Drive and Junipero Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the public's interest to amend Resolution No. 76-79 by amending Section 3 <br /> (Stop Intersections). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City <br /> Streets) is hereby amended by adding subsection 3j and 3s as follows: <br /> <br /> 3j Junipero Street, at Sonoma Drive; stopping traffic in both directions on <br /> Junipero Street. <br /> <br /> 3s Sonoma Drive, at Junipero Street; stopping traffic in both directions on <br /> Sonoma Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
