~,,~,,,,.~.,~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-135 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br /> (ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY <br /> STREETS) TO ESTABLISH A FOUR-WAY STOP AT <br /> PETERS AND ROSE AVENUES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution <br /> Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 20, 1998, the City Council received a staff report <br /> (SR:98:274) from the Director of Public Works related to a request to install an <br /> all-way stop at the intersection of Peters and Rose Avenues; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the public's interest to amend Resolution No. 76-79 by amending Section 3 <br /> (Stop Intersections). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCII, OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City <br /> Streets) is hereby amended by adding subsection 3p and 3r as f'olloxvs: <br /> <br /> 3p Peters Avenue, at Rose Avenue; stopping traffic in both directions on Peters <br /> Avenue <br /> <br /> 3r Rose Avenue, at Peters Avenue; stopping traffic in both directions on Rose <br /> Avenue <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
