CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 98-134 RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMISSION, PLANNING COMMISSION, LIBRARY COMMISSION AND ECONOMIC VITALITY COMMITTEE WHEREAS, due to resignations or the expiration of terms of various members, vacancies have occurred on the Affordable Housing Commission, Planning Commission, Library Commission, and Economic Vitality Committee; and WHEREAS, applications were received and interviews held with various individuals who are interested in serving on the various commissions/committee and their qualifications evaluated. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Tom Law is reappointed as a regular member of the Affordable Housing Commission, which term expires September 30, 2002. Betty Barrett is appointed as an alternate member of the Affordable Housing Commission, which term expires on September 30, 2002, or until such time as she is replaced. Section 2: Harvey Kameny is appointed as an alternate member of the Planning Commission, which term expires on September 30, 2002, or until such time as he is replaced. Section 3: Dom Summa is reappointed as a regular member of the Library Commission, which term expires on September 30, 2002, or until such time as he is replaced. Section4: Joan Leighty is appointed as a regular member of the Library Commission representing the Pleasanton Library League, which term expires on September 30, 2002, or until such time as she is replaced. Section 5: Michael Sisario is appointed to the Economic Vitality Committee, representing the telecommunications industry, which term expires on September 30, 2002, or until such time as he is replaced.
