CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-132 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 85-381 <br /> WHICH APPROVED THE DESIGN FOR A TWO-BUILDING <br /> COMPLEX LOCATED AT 5751 GIBRALTAR DRIVE <br /> (PUD-Sl-30-29D) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 6, 1985, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 85-381, which <br /> approved the application of Callahan-Pentz Properties for design approval for a <br /> two-building, 83,571 square foot research and development/light industrial <br /> complex on an approximately 5.0 acre site located at 5751 Gibraltar Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) I-C/O <br /> (Industrial-Commercial/Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, thirteen years have elapsed since the design approval and the property owner has <br /> no intention of building the approved project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, actions of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br /> Califomia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), therefore, no environmental <br /> document was prepared for this proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the rescission of the design approval would have <br /> no negative effect on the City. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Rescinds Resolution No. 85-381, which approved the application of <br /> Callahan-Pentz Properties for design approval for a two-building, 83,571 square <br /> foot research and development/light industrial complex on an approximately 5.0 <br /> acre site located at 5751 Gibraltar Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
