CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-126 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL (AP-98-09) OF THE <br /> DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION THEREBY <br /> UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION TO DENY THE APPLICATION OF PACIFIC <br /> UNION VENTURES, INC., AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-98-05 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 29, 1998, the Planning Commission denied Case PUD-98-05, <br /> the application of Pacific Union Ventures, Inc. for Planned Unit Development <br /> rezoning and development plan approval for the construction of a 26,045 sq. <br /> office/retail building located at 325 Ray Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, Pacific Union <br /> Ventures, Inc. submitted an appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City Council on September 1, <br /> 1998, at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the building and design are not compatible with the residential housing located <br /> adjacent to the site; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies Case AP-98-09, thereby upholding the decision of the Planning <br /> Commission to deny Case PUD-98-05, the application of Pacific Union Ventures, <br /> Inc. for a Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan approval for <br /> the construction of a 26,240 sq. ft. office/retail building located at 325 Ray Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
