~,~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-125 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POLICIES FOR <br /> RECREATION GROUP SPONSORSHIP AND <br /> CLASSIFICATION AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. <br /> 83-60 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on February 22, 1983, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 83-60 establishing <br /> Recreation Group Sponsorship and Classification policies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a recent review of that resolution indicated that certain sections were obsolete, that <br /> it would be timely to incorporate other related policy decisions made since 1983 <br /> and that some changes were desired to accommodate present needs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 9, 1998, the Park and Recreation Commission considered the revision of <br /> Resolution No. 83-60 and adopted a resolution recommending changes to the City <br /> Council; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Repeals Resolution No. 83-60. <br /> <br />Section 2: Establishes policies for Recreation Group Sponsorship and Classification pursuant <br /> to Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City staff is instructed to carry out the above policies in all administrative <br /> decisions affecting parks and recreation. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 1, 1998 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
