CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-124 <br /> <br /> RE SOLUTION APPROVING PREANNEXATION <br /> AGREEMENT AND REQUEST FOR WATER CONNECTION <br /> FOR DOMINIC AND DIANA GAIERO (585 HAPPY VALLEY <br /> ROAD) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 1, 1998, the City Council received the staff report <br /> (SR98:237) from the Director of Public Works regarding the request from <br /> Dominic and Diana Gaiero for water connection for the property at 585 Happy <br /> Valley Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Government Code requires a city which wishes to provide utility service <br /> beyond its jurisdictional boundary to obtain approval from the Local Agency <br /> Formation Commission; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the request for water connection to 585 Happy Valley <br /> Road, and authorizes the City Manager to execute the attached preannexation <br /> Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 2: Directs staff to file an application with LAFCO for its consideration. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 1, 1998 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
