CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-122 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> CHEVRON PRODUCTS COMPANY, INC. FOR A <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> UP-97-70 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chevron Products Company, Inc. has applied for a conditional use permit to allow <br /> the operation of a 24-hour self-service gasoline station and convenience store with <br /> the sale of alcoholic beverages located at 1797 Santa Rita Road (the southwest <br /> comer of Valley Avenue and Santa Rita Road); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property upon the effective date of Ordinance No. 1760, will be <br /> PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C (Commercial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City Council on August 18, <br /> 1998, at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed project, as conditioned, is <br /> appropriate for the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves Case UP-97-70, the application of Chevron Products Company, Inc. for <br /> a conditional use permit to allow the operation of a 24-hour self-service gasoline <br /> station and convenience store with the sale of alcoholic beverages located at 1797 <br /> Santa Rita Road (the southwest comer of Valley Avenue and Santa Rita Road), <br /> subject to the conditions shown on "Exhibit C", attached hereto and made a part of <br /> this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective upon the effective date of Ordinance No. <br /> 1760. <br /> <br /> <br />
