CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-120 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING APPEAL (AP-98-8) THEREBY <br /> UPHOLDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br /> VALLEY COMMUNITY CHURCH, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> UP-98-20 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved Case UP-98-20, the application of Valley <br /> Community Church for a conditional use permit to operate a preschool for children <br /> between the ages of two and five within an existing church facility located at 4455 <br /> Del Valle Parkway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is P (Public and Institutional) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, the decision of the <br /> Planning Commission was appealed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City Council on August 18, <br /> 1998, at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed project, as conditioned, is <br /> appropriate for the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies Case AP-98-8, thereby upholding the decision of the Planning Commission <br /> to approve Case UP-98-20, the application of Valley Community Church for a <br /> conditional use permit to operate a preschool for children between the ages of two <br /> and five within an existing .church facility located at 4455 Del Valle Parkway. · <br /> <br /> <br />
