CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-111 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING A SECOND ALTERNATE FOR <br /> THE LIVERMORE AMADOR VALLEY WATER <br /> MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in December of each year, the Mayor appoints and the Council ratifies the City's <br /> appointments to various regional boards and local committees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to periodic absences of Council appointed members to the Livermore Amador <br /> Valley Water Management Authority, Council has determined that it is necessary <br /> to appoint an additional alternate representative to LAVWMA; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Kay Ayala is appointed as a second voting alternate to the Livermore Amador <br /> Valley Water Management Authority (LAVWMA). <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 4, 1998 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Dennis <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Peggy ]g. ~Lz~r~, Cit:i.~lerk <br /> <br />Michael H.
