Effective May 1, 1998, the City's maximum monthly long term <br />disability insurance premium contribution shall be increased to twenty <br />three dollars (523.00). The City shall not be obligated to contribute <br />an amount in excess of twenty three dollars (523.00) throughout the <br />term of this agreement. <br />IV. OTHER PROVISIONS <br />A. Section 11 -- Siclc Leave Accrual <br />1. Effective May 1, 1998, the City will eliminate the 384 hour sick <br />leave credit provision for new employees. All new employees <br />will accumulate sick leave at a rate of eight (8) hours per <br />month, up to a maximum of 1,440 hours, for each month of <br />service. This provision does not apply to police recruits or <br />probationary officers hired prior to the effective date of this <br />MOU. <br /> <br />2. Effective May 1, 1998, The City shall extend the attached <br />Catastrophic Leave Policy (see Exhibit A) to all PPOA members. <br />~ 6. Section 10.4 -- Vacation Sign-Up Program <br />1. The attached Vacation Sign-Up Program (see Exhibit B) will be <br />implemented commencing the first pay period after January 1, <br />1999. The attached guidelines will govern the program. <br />C. Section 15 -- Uniforms <br />1. Effective May 1, 1998, the annual uniform allowance shall be <br />increased from 5680 to 5725. <br />D. Section 28.2 -- Seniority Shift Sign-Up Program <br />1. The attached Seniority Shift Sign-up Program (see Exhibit C) <br />will be implemented in the Operations Division effective the <br />first pay period after January 1, 1999.
