CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-104 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> FOR THE APPLICATION OF MARRIOTT SENIOR LIVING <br /> SERVICES, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-98-04 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 21, 1998, the City Council received a proposed negative <br /> declaration for the application of Marriott Senior Living Services for Planned Unit <br /> Development rezoning and development plan approval for a senior living facility <br /> consisting of 142 rooms (167 beds) for assisted living units, Alzheimer units, and <br /> skilled nursing units located at 3534-3622 Old Santa Rita Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated March 12, <br /> 1998, and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br /> opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning <br /> and development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br /> applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed development plan and rezoning would not <br /> have any significant adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for <br /> adverse impacts on the site's wildlife; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
