3. Biology. Alternative 5 would result in fewer impacts to biological and wetland <br /> resources because the Bypass Road would be eliminated, and there would be no <br /> development of the Spotorno Upper Valley Medium Density Residential area. <br /> Thus, grading and re-contouring are reduced. <br /> <br /> 4. Lack of Recreational Amenities and Open Space. Alternative 5 does not provide <br /> for a municipal golf course. This lack of recreational use creates a deficit of <br /> recreational amenities and community activities. This is further exacerbated by the <br /> increased densities and higher demands for recreational facilities. <br /> <br /> 5. Greater Impacts.
