CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-83 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE FINAL <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE HAPPY <br /> VALLEY GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT, SPECIFIC PLAN, <br /> AND PREZONING AS COMPLETE AND ADEQUATE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is considering a General Plan Amendment, Specific Plan, <br /> and prezoning (collectively "the project") for the 860-acre Happy Valley site <br /> located south of Sycamore Road in the vicinity of Alisal Street and Happy Valley <br /> Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton provided proper public notice of the availability of the Draft <br /> Environmental Impact Report for the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has accepted and responded to all comments to the Draft <br /> Environmental Impact Report from public agencies having jurisdiction by law, <br /> persons having special expertise with respect to any environmental impact <br /> involved, and other persons and organizations having an interest in the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Final Environmental Impact Report has been prepared and contains the Draft <br /> Environmental Impact Report, comments and recommendations received on the <br /> Draft Environmental Impact Report, and the responses of the City of Pleasanton to <br /> significant environmental points raised in the review and consultation process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has provided proper notice of completion of the Final <br /> Environmental Impact Report for the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton held public hearings on <br /> March 11, April 22, and April 29, 1998, and has recommended approval of the <br /> Final Environmental Impact Report, and adopting the EIR Mitigation Monitoring <br /> Program, the CEQA Findings, and a Statement of Overriding Considerations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton held a noticed public hearing on <br /> June 16, 1998, to consider the completeness and adequacy of the Final <br /> Environmental Impact Report; and <br /> <br /> <br />
