~,~v2~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-82 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1997-98 THIRD QUARTER <br /> FINANCIAL REPORT AND UPDATE OF CITY'S GENERAL <br /> FINANCIAL POLICIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, each quarter a report of financial condition is presented to Council which includes <br /> any staff recommendations for budget amendments or actions needed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a report (SR98:152) for the third quarter of the <br /> fiscal year ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the third quarter financial review, staff made recommendations as <br /> outlined in that report. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That the Operating Budget amendments outlined in Appendix A be approved. <br /> <br />Section 2: That the Captial Improvement Program Budget amendments outlined in Appendix <br /> B be approved. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JUNE 16,1998 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> · / <br />Michael H.
