~,~.x~.~l~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-46 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING REVISED EMPLOYER/ <br /> EMPLOYEE RELATIONS PROCEDURES FOR THE CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON AND DESIGNATING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER AS THE MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEE RELATIONS <br /> OFFICER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedures governing the conduct of employer/employee relations for the City <br /> of Pleasanton are set forth in Resolution Nos. 71-74 and 71-75; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedures as set forth in Resolution Nos. 71-74 and 71-75 have been recently <br /> revised consistent with contemporary employer/employee relations practices; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the revised procedures have been reviewed by representatives of the City's <br /> employee association subject to the procedures. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Adopts the revised Employer/Employee Relations Procedures, a copy of which is <br /> incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Designates the City Manager as the City's municipal employee relations officer as <br /> called for in Section 26 of the revised Employer/Employee Relations Procedures. <br /> <br />Section 3: Repeals Resolution Nos. 71-74 and 71-75. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON MAY 5, 1998 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
