~,~$,N.~.~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-42 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING COST SHARING PLAN FOR <br /> LIVERMORE-PLEASANTON FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> HEADQUARTERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, during the studies for the consolidation of fire services, it was determined that <br /> additional administrative space would be required for the joint command team; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, several options were considered and the most cost effective option was to combine <br /> the joint headquarters with Pleasanton's proposed new Fire Station #4; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 5, 1998, the City Council received the report from the Fire <br /> Chief (SR 98:108) regarding the proposed agreement between the City of <br /> Pleasanton and the City of Livermore for the cost sharing plan for the additional <br /> land and square footage necessary for the administration offices. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department Headquarters Cost Sharing <br /> Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto, and authorizes the City Manager to <br /> sign on behalf of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON MAY 5, 1998 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
