CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-36 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN <br /> LANDS FOR THE FIRST STREET BRIDGE AT ARROYO <br /> DEL VALLE PROJECT AND DIRECTING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER TO EXECUTE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the First Street Bridge at Arroyo del Valle Project <br /> ("Project") and the City must acquire certain real property, temporary construction <br /> easements, and a storm drainage easement to carry out the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, four of the property owners who will be impacted by the Project have agreed with <br /> the appraisals for the City's acquisition of temporary construction easements <br /> totaling 14,775 square feet, and a storm drainage easement of 224 square feet, <br /> described more particularly in the attached Exhibit "A". <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Manager is directed to execute the necessary documents with: (a) Frank <br /> Auf der Maur and Konrad and Elizabeth Rickenbach; (b) First Baptist Church; <br /> (c) Helen Knowles; and (d) the Jess C. Spencer Mortuary, Inc., as set forth in the <br /> attached Exhibit "A", to effectuate the conveyance of the easements. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON APRIL 21, 1998 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
