CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-01 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADDING AGENDA ITEM REGARDING <br /> SCHOOL DISTRICT/CITY LIAISON COMMITTEE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recently received a letter regarding proposed changes to the <br /> membership structure of the School District/City Liaison Committee; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this letter was received after the agenda for the January 6, 1998 City Council <br /> meeting was posted and action is required before the next regular meeting of the <br /> City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Brown Act permits the Council to add an item to the agenda upon a two-thirds <br /> vote of the Council that finds that the item arose after the time the agenda was <br /> posted and that action on the item is necessary before the next City Council <br /> meeting; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council so finds; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Based on the findings set forth above, discussion regarding the proposed changes <br /> in the membership structure of the School District/City Liaison Committee is <br /> hereby added to the January 6, 1998 agenda for Council consideration and action, <br /> if necessary. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 6, 1998 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
