<br />,. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-145 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RE-APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF SECURITY <br />TRUST COMPANY FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at is meeting of December 3, 1996, the City Council adopted Resolution No. <br />96-141, approving a negative declaration for the application of Security Trust <br />Company, as Trustee for Stoneridge Regional Shopping Center, for an amendment <br />to its development agreement with the City that would: (1) extend the term of the <br />Agreement for five years; (2) allow an additional development of 202,000 square <br />feet (in addition to the 178,000 square feet of approved, but not built, <br />development) of leasable floor area in additional department stores, specialty <br />stores, and/or additional mall stores; (3) establish revised minimum parking ratios; <br />and (4) establish the owners' obligations for further traffic mitigation <br />improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no decision on the amendment to the Development Agreement was made at that <br />time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 9, 1997, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the <br />proposed amendment to the development agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the proposed amendment would not have any <br />significant adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further fmds that the proposed amendment will have no potential <br />for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOL YES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />
