CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-116 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />SPA-97-02 <br />WHEREAS, Trumark Homes and Pine Street Properties have applied to modify the adopted <br />Downtown Specific Plan to modify the uses from Auto-Oriented Retail (Office <br />and Commercial Services, either floor) to Mixed Use (Office/Commercial and <br />Residential) on an approximately 3.2 acre site located at 63, 65, and 73 Ray Street; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the project documents <br />and recommended on August 13, 1997 that the City Council approve the <br />amendment to the specific plan for the site and adopt a negative declaration of <br />environmental impact; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was called and duly noticed for September 16, 1997, at which <br />time the City Council reviewed the proposed amendment to the Downtown <br />Specific Plan and considered all related reports, documents, testimony, and <br />recommendations; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that no potentially significant environmental effects have <br />been identified by the Initial Study of Environmental Impacts or that any impacts <br />either have been mitigated by project conditions of approval or modifications <br />made to the project during the review process; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council fords that the adoption of the amendment to the Downtown <br />Specific Plan is consistent with the General Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Trumark Homes and Pine Street Properties for an <br />amendment to the Downtown Specific °lan to modify the adopted Downtown <br />Specific Plan uses from Auto-Oriented Retail (Office and Commercial Services, <br />either floor) to Mixed Use (Office/Commercial and Residential) for an <br />approximately 3.2 acre site located at 63, 65, and 73 Ray Street. <br />
