CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-115 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR A SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMENT (SPA-97-02) AND <br />FOR A REZONING AND A PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT (PUD-97-08) APPROVAL (RAY STREET <br />VILLAGE) <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 16, 1997, the City Council received a proposed <br />negative declaration for the application of Trumark Homes and Pine Street <br />Properties for an amendment to the Downtown Specific Plan (SPA-97-02) and for <br />rezoning and development plan approval for an approximately 6,100 square foot <br />office building with asemi-subterranean garage and 30 small-lot, single-family <br />detached homes on property located at 63, 65, and 73 Ray Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated June 13, 1997 <br />and received the recommendations of staff and the Planning Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed Specific <br />Plan Amendment, PUD rezoning, and development plan approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed Specific Plan amendment, proposed <br />rezoning and development plan approval would not have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for <br />adverse impacts on the site's wildlife: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application of Trumark Homes and Pine <br />Street Properties for an amendment to the Downtown Specific Plan (SPA-97-02) <br />and for rezoning and development plan approval (PUD-97-08) for an <br />approximately 6,100 square foot office building with asemi-subterranean parking <br />garage and 30 small-lot, single-family, detached homes on property located at 63, <br />65, and 73 Ray Street. <br />
