CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 97-101 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION SETTING THE TAX RATE FOR <br /> DEBT SERVICE ON VOTER APPROVED GENERAL <br /> OBLIGATION BONDS DURING FISCAL YEAR <br /> 1997-98 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, a general law city, must establish its 1997-98 fiscal <br /> year tax rate for debt service on voter approved General Obligation Bonds <br /> and notify the County Auditor of said tax rate before September 1, 1997; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the tax rate for debt service on bond issues approved by the voters is <br /> specifically exempt from the tax rate limitations imposed by California <br /> Constitution Article XIII (Proposition 13). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The tax rate for debt service on voter approved General Obligation Bonds <br /> for the City of Pleasanton for fiscal year 1997-98 is fixed as follows: <br /> <br /> Debt Service District No. 1 <br /> .00 15% of full value <br /> <br /> Debt Service District No. 2 <br /> .00 15% of full value <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption in "The Tri-Valley Herald", a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published and circulated in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> <br />
