"1 hospital area identified by the City of Livemore at the time of approval 2 of this Agreement. 3 14.2.3 DSRSD may provide wastewater treatment and disposal service to 4 Camp Parks for military uses. 5 14.2.4 In the interest of protecting public health and safety, a Member Agency 6 may also provide wastewater treatment and disposal service to 7 unincorporated properties adjoining a city. If the cumulative amount 8 of proposed service in any one contiguous unincorporated geographic 9 area exceeds ten (10) residential connections or the equivalent, service 10 in excess of ten connections will require unanimous approval of the 11 LAVWMA Board. 12 14.2.5 Except as otherwise provided in this paragraph, no Member Agency 13 shall serve any other area, including any unincorporated area of 14 Alameda County which is south of Interstate 580 or in the planning 15 area for the North Livemore General Plan Amendment adopted by 16 the Livemore City Council on October 11, 1993, without the 17 unanimous vote of the LAVWMA Board. 18 14.3 The Member Agencies will, individually and collectively, actively resist any 19 other governmental agency requiring a Member Agency to provide 20 wastewater or disposal service to any unincorporated areas other than the 21 areas described herein. 22 para~aph 15. Pipeline Pro!ect. 23 15.1 Pro!ect Description. Upon execution of this Agreement, the Member 24 Agencies shall initiate the Project, which includes an export pumping and 25 pipeline expansion that increases the total design capacity of the LAVWMA 26 system to 41.2 mgd PWWF. The Project shall consist of an expansion com- 27 ponent and a repair component. The expansion component includes a new 28 pipeline which is intended to have a design capacity of 21 mgd PWWF, an 29 expanded export pumping station and, at the appropriate time, a Livermore 30 funded pump station and possible improvements to the LAVWMA sole use 31 interceptor. Construction of the new pipeline shall be followed immediately 32 by the repair component consisting of the relining of the existing pipeline 33 which is intended to have a design capacity of 20.2 mgd PWWF. 34 15.2 PWWF Capacity.. The total PWWF design capacity of the Project is 41.2 mgd. 35 If all Member Agencies participate in the Project, the PWWF capacity shall be 36 allocated as follows: Livermore 12.4 mgd; Pleasanton 14.4 mgd; and DSRSD 37 14.4 mgd; and the expansion increment of the Project shall be: Livermore 38 3.672 mgd; Pleasanton 6.897 mgd; and DSRSD 9.631 mgd. Any Member 39 Agency that does not participate in the Project retains its right to utilize its 40 existing PWWF capacity in the LAVWMA pipeline(s) and related facilities 41 which is: Livemore 8.728 mgd; Pleasanton 7.503 mgd; and DSRSD 4.769 mgd.
