e. The reflectors shall be displayed continuously <br /> during darkness while the vehicle remains <br /> disabled upon the roadway or parked or disable <br /> within 10 feet thereof. <br /> <br />.. f. Subdivisions (b), (c), (d), and(e) do not <br /> apply to vehicle under either of the <br /> following circumstances: <br /> <br /> 1. Parked in a legal position within the <br /> corporate limits of any city. <br /> <br /> 2o Parked in a legal position upon a roadway <br /> bounded by adjacent curbs. <br /> <br /> g. In addition to the reflectors specified in <br /> subdivision (a), an emergency warning sign <br /> or banner may be attached to a vehicle <br /> which is disable upon the roadway or which <br /> is parked or disable within 10 feet of a <br /> roadway." <br /> <br /> 15o Use of FuSe~ (~305). "(a) No person shall place, <br /> deposit, or display upon or adjacent to any highway <br /> any lighted fuses, except as a warning to <br /> approaching vehicular traffic or railroad trains, or <br /> both, of an existing hazard upon or adjacent to the <br /> highway or highway-railroad crossing. <br /> <br /> (b) It is unlawful to use any fusee which produces <br /> other than a red light." <br /> <br /> 16. Brakes (26459, 26454, 26458). Disabled motor <br /> vehicles equipped with power brakes are exempt from <br /> the provisions of Vehicle Code Section 26458 which <br /> require a single control on the towing vehicle to <br /> operate the brakes on the towed vehicle. Such <br /> combinations must meet the stopping distance <br /> requirement of 50 feet from an initial speed of 20 <br /> miles per hour. The service brakes on the tow truck <br /> shall be adequate to control the movement of and <br /> stop and hold the combination of vehicles under all <br /> conditions and on any grade on which they are <br /> operated. Brakes are required to be maintained in <br /> good working order at all times. <br /> <br /> 17. Broom. shovel and Extinguisher (27700). "(a) Tow <br /> trucks shall be equipped with and carry all of the <br /> following: <br /> <br /> (1) One or more brooms, and the driver of the tow <br /> -B 10- <br /> <br /> <br />
