CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 97-80 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> PROVIDIAN BANCORP FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br /> APPROVAL TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF AN <br /> OFFICE BUILDING, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-80-16-17D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Providian BanCorp has applied for design review approval to allow the <br /> construction of a new, 57,461 square foot office building located in the <br /> Signature Center Business Park, defined by Franklin and Johnson Drives; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) I/C-O <br /> (Industrial/Commercial and Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is covered by the existing Negative Declaration <br /> previously approved by the City Council for PUD-80-16-3M; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval <br /> of the proposed design review; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public heating was held on July 1, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed project is appropriate for the <br /> site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves Case PUD-80-16-17D, the application of Providian BanCorp for <br /> design review approval .to allow the construction of a new, 57,461 square <br /> foot office building located in the Signature Center Business Park, defined <br /> by Franklin and Johnson Drives, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit <br /> "C", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
