CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 97-70 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER <br /> IMPROVEMENTS, LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPE <br /> ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1995-2, LAGUNA OAKS <br /> (PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND <br /> LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Lighting <br /> and Landscape Assessment District No. 1995-2, Laguna Oaks, during fiscal <br /> year 1997-98. The area of land to be assessed is located in the City of <br /> Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> <br />Section 2: The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally <br /> described as follows: <br /> <br /> The maintenance and repair of designated landscaped areas and open space <br /> areas, entry features, entry lighting, masonry soundwalls, wrought iron <br /> fences, common area drainage ditches, irrigation systems, trees and <br /> planflags in designated landscaped areas, furnishing of water and power for <br /> irrigation systems, street lights and pathway lighting, together with all <br /> appurtenant and incidental expenses within Tract 6266, City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3: In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual <br /> report, Randall A. Lum, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the <br /> report required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All <br /> interested persons are referred to that report for a full and detailed <br /> description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessments upon <br /> assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. <br /> <br />Section 4: On Tuesday, the 1st day of July, 1997, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., the City <br /> Council will conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the <br /> proposed annual assessment. The heating will be located in the City <br /> Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br /> <br />
