DRIVING RANGE/PRACTICE FACILITIES,

A suitable driving range needs to be designed to accommodate leaming center
activity and be located so that there is requisite safety from stray shots. There will be
no night lighting. Practice putting green, sand bunkers, chipping green, etc. are
desired.

ACCOMMODATION OF EXISTING HOMESITES AND THOSE TO BE
DEVELOPED

Providing the desired golf course characteristics and quality can be realized, the
design should accommodate as many of the three existing on-site homes as
possible. It also must accommodate the development of a minimum of 24 and up to
34 new half-acre homesites.

TRAIL SYSTEM
A trail system is planned by the Pleasanton General Plan in the vicinity of the golf
course. The plan for the trail system should avoid impacting play of the golf course,
for which input from the golf course architect may be needed.

POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL NINE HOLE FACILITY

It may develop that the City can arrange and finance so that a short 9 hole course is
developed on adjacent property. The design should accommodate that possibility so
that the operations of the 18 hole and 9 hole facilities can be effectively coordinated.
As an aitemative to a short 9 - hole course, consideration should be given to the
feasibility of making the existing site and an adjacent site into a 27 hole course.

BUDGET

Costs of the project must be kept within reasonable limits and, in any event, meet the
criteda of the Citys bond constraints.
