CenteX 130n1e5 <br />Commissioner Roberts noted that on her trip to Michigan, she had seen a large sign by <br />G'entex I-Iomcs, advertising for homes in the mid-$ 1 00,000s_ <br />8_ MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION <br />a_ Future Planning Calendar <br />Joint Session <br />Ms. Decker advised that the August 9, 2005 Joint City Council-Planning Commission <br />General Plan traffic and circulation workshop had been cancelled and has been <br />rescheduled for Tuesday, August 30, 2005_ <br />Commissioner Roberts believed that the August 9, 2005 date had. been agreed upon- <br />Ms_ Decker noted that some conflicts had arisen. <br />Chairperson Maas expressed frustration with the rescheduling of the workshop- <br />July 27_ 2005 meeting <br />Commissioner Roberts believed the agenda was too heavy to be addressed during the <br />meeting- <br />Ms. Decker noted that Ron Winter SPUD-37) had some time-related constraints and that <br />his item should be retained on the agenda. She believed the additional work on that item <br />would facilitate the discussion. She advised. that Mike Welsh's item (PLTD-36~ may be <br />continued. She further noted that the public hearing for PAUP- 1 ~chickens~ had been <br />closed; however, the neighbors had retained counsel and had requested that the hearing <br />be reopened to hear additional testimony_ <br />Community of Character <br />Commissioner Fox suggested that the Community of Character standards be brought up <br />at the meetings. <br />Chairperson Maas suggested that the sign be moved so that it was not covered by the <br />screen_ <br />b.
