PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COL7 N"rY, CALIFORNTA <br />RESOLUTION NO_ PC-2005-55 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING Tl-IE APPLICATION OF MARIO SAAVEDRA FOR DESIGN <br />REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-316 <br />WHEI2_EAS, Mario Saavedra has applied for design review approval to demolish the existing <br />building at 347 Division Street and to construct an approximately <br />6,378-square-foot, two-story commercial building at 347 Division Street; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial) Downtown Revitalization <br />District; and <br />W HFREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of November 16, 2005, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, in urbanized areas, the con struciion of a new commercial building of <br />] 0,000 square feet or less in area is categorically exempt from the requirements of <br />the California Environmental Quality Act <CEQA~; and <br />WI-IEREAS, the Planning G'ommission determined that the proposed project is consistent with <br />Lhe appearance of the existing buildings in the area- <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PI_.ANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES "1'HE FOLLOWING= <br />Section I . Approves Case YDK-316, the application of Mario Saavedra for design review <br />approval io demolish the existing building at 347 Division Sheet and Lo construct <br />an approximately 6,378-square-toot, two-story commercial building at <br />347 Division Street, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference- <br />Section 2.
