PC-2005-49 <br />RESOLLJ"1'IUN APPROVING AN ANIMAL USE PERMIT POR ALUNZO AND SARAH <br />I-IUDSON, AS FILED LJNDER CASE PAUP-2 <br />W]-IEREA S, Alonzo and Sarah I-Iudson have applied for an animal use permit to allow four <br />chickens to be kept in an enclosed area in the backyard of an existing residence <br />located at 1021 Malaga Court; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-1-6,500 Single-Family Residential District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing oP October 19, 2005, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, aad recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings: <br />The proposed location of the conditional use is in accordance with the <br />o bj actives of the zoning ordinance and the purpose of the district in which <br />the site is located. <br />The subject site is located in the R-] -6,500 ~Singl e-Family Residential) Distirct. <br />The keeping of fowl. is a conditionally permitted use in the.
