PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />K1-~SOLU"PION NO. YCG-2005-40 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR "1'HE APPLICATION OF CZTBIX CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br />FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PCUP-1 33/PDR-440 <br />WHEREAS, Cubix Construction Company has applied for conditional use permit and design <br />review approval to construct and operate an approximately 76, 7 06-square-foot <br />set £-storage facility on an approximately 83'7-acre site located at 5555 Sunol <br />Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated July 19, <br />2005, and received the recommendation of staff; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 1 O, 2005, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />Negative Declaration for Case PCUP-133/PDR-440; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental inip acts of <br />the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the site's wildlife. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OP THE CITY OF PLEASAN TON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1 . Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for <br />Case PCLSP- 1 33/PDR-440, ills application of Cubix Consiruction Company for <br />conditional use permit and design review approval to construct and operate an <br />approximately 76,106-square-foot self-storage facility on an approximately <br />8.37-acre site located at 5555 Sunol Boulevard. <br />Section 2. F'irids that the proposed prof ect will leave a do iriininius iiripaci on the site's <br />wildlife. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />
