PC-2005-37 RESOL,U"1~ION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF RON AND KIMBERLY WINTER FOR PiTD REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL, AS F1LED UNDER CASE PUD-37 WHEREAS, Ron and Kimberly Winter have applied for a PUD rezoning and development plan approval for the construction of four singl c-family residences and two rental units at 520 St. John Street, and WHEREAS, zoning For the property is RM-15 (Multiple-Family Residential) District and Core Area Overlay District; and WI-[ERFAS, at its duly noticed public hearing o£July 27, 2005, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and WI-IEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report <E1R) for the Downtown Specific Ylan Area was approved by the City Council on March 5, 2005, and the EIR anticipated that a high-density residential project would be located on the proposed. site; acid WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined ihai the proposed project is not consistent with the appearance of the existing buildings in the area and not appropriate for the site- NOW, THEREFORE, T1-IE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASAN TON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1 . Denies Case PUD-37, the application of Ron and Kimberly Winter for a YUD rezoning and development plan approval for the construction of four single-fancily residences and two rental units at 520 St. John Street_ Section 2.
