PLANNiN C4 COMMISSION C7ITY OF PLEASANTON <br />AI.AMEDA COUNTY, C.A LIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO_ PC-2005-3G <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THF_ APPEAL OF GREGORY AND NANCY CROFTON OF "THE <br />ZONING ADMiN 1S"TRATUR'S APPROVAL OF AN ADMiN7S"1'RATIVE DESIGN REVIEW, AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE YAY-30 (PADR-1271 ) <br />WHERF_AS, Gregory and Nancy Crofton have appealed the Zoning Administrator's approval of <br />YAD12-1271, the application of Benjamin and Joyce Diaz for design review to construct <br />an approxin-iatcly 335-square-foot first-door addition and a 221-square-foot second-floor <br />addition to the east of the cxisting residence located aL 4769 Peaceful Lane; and <br />WHEREAS, coning for the properly is Y1J U-MUK (Planned Unit Developn-rent Mcdiurri Density <br />Residantial~ District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of July 27, 2005, the Planning Commission considered <br />all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recotrimend ations o£tl-ie City staff concerning <br />this application; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature arc categorically exempt t?-om the requirements of the Califoniia <br />I?nvironmental Quality Act (CEQA), and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission detarrninad that the proposed proj act is consistent with the <br />appearance of the cxisting buildings in the area- <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASAN"TUN <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1 . Denies Case YAP-30, the appeal of Gregory acid Nancy C7roRon, thereby upholding the <br />Zoning Administrator's approval o£C'ase PADR-1277, the application of Benjamin and <br />Toyce Diaz io construct an approximately 335-square-foot first.-floor addition and a <br />227 -square-foot second-27oor addition to the east o£thc existinl~ rc-.sid ence located at <br />4769 Peaceful Lana, subj act to Lhc conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto grid <br />made part of this case by rcferanca_ <br />S cetion 2.
