PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASAN TON <br />ALAMEDA C7OUNTY, CAL,iFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO_ YC-2005-30 <br />RESOL"UTiON REC7OM MEND1NCi APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARA"PION FOR <br />THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-46 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for PUD development plan approval. of lighted <br />sports fields at the Bernal Property on a 1 3-acre site located south of Bernal <br />Avenue, north of Valley Avenue, and several hundred feet west of the LJ nion <br />Pacific Railroad tracks; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Conm~ission received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated Tune 1, <br />2005, and rcceived the recommendation of staff; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 22, 2005, the Planning C]onm~ission received a proposed <br />Negative Declaration for Case PUD-46; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental itapacts of <br />the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negativc <br />Declarations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Plat~iting Comiriission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any signi£cant adverse effects on the site's wildli Fe" <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE C7ITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES T'HE FOLLOWING= <br />Section L Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case YUD-46, <br />the application of the Clity of Pleasanton for YUD develo pnieni plan approval of <br />lighted sports fields at the Bernal Property on a 13-acre site located south of <br />Bernal Avenue, north of Valley Avenuc, and several hundred feet west of the <br />Union Pacific Railroad tracks. <br />Section 2" Finds that the proposed project will have a de minimus impact on the site's <br />wildlife. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become affective immediately upon its passage aimed <br />adoption. <br />
