PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASAN TON ALAMEDA C7OUNTY, CAL,iFORNIA RESOLUTION NO_ YC-2005-30 RESOL"UTiON REC7OM MEND1NCi APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARA"PION FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-46 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for PUD development plan approval. of lighted sports fields at the Bernal Property on a 1 3-acre site located south of Bernal Avenue, north of Valley Avenue, and several hundred feet west of the LJ nion Pacific Railroad tracks; and WHEREAS, the Planning Conm~ission received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated Tune 1, 2005, and rcceived the recommendation of staff; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 22, 2005, the Planning C]onm~ission received a proposed Negative Declaration for Case PUD-46; and WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental itapacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negativc Declarations; and WHEREAS, the Plat~iting Comiriission finds that approval of the proposed project would not have any signi£cant adverse effects on the site's wildli Fe" NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE C7ITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES T'HE FOLLOWING= Section L Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case YUD-46, the application of the Clity of Pleasanton for YUD develo pnieni plan approval of lighted sports fields at the Bernal Property on a 13-acre site located south of Bernal Avenue, north of Valley Avenuc, and several hundred feet west of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks. Section 2" Finds that the proposed project will have a de minimus impact on the site's wildlife. Section 3. This resolution shall become affective immediately upon its passage aimed adoption.
