PC-2005-27 <br />RESOLU TiON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OP THE APPLICATION OF CHARLES <br />SCHWAS &c COMPANY, 1NC_ FOK A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO A PLANNED UNi"I' <br />7llEVELOPMENT DEV ELOPMEN"f PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-22-7 7 M <br />WHEREAS, Charles Schwab c$. Company, Inc. has applied for a irtajor modification to the <br />approved Planned Unit Development development plan for 67 50 Stoneridge Mall <br />Road. to demolish the existing 8,500-square-foot building and replace it with a <br />new parking area and landscape strips at 61 80 and 6220 Stoneridge Mall Road; <br />and <br />WHERE AS_ zoning for the property is PUD-C-O Planned Unit Development Commercial- <br />Office~ District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of Jw~e 22, 2005, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />W HERI AS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act ~CEQA~; and <br />WHEREAS, the Plat~iZing Commission determined that the proposed modification would he <br />consistent with other recently approved projects in the area and would not alter <br />the natural topographical features of the area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING C7OM MISSION OF THE CJITY OF PLi?ASAN"1'ON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING= <br />Section 7 . Recommends approval of Case PUD-81-22-11M, the application of Charles <br />Schwab 8c C]ompany, Inc. for a rrtaj or modification to the approved Planned Unit <br />Development development play for 6180 Stoneridge Mall Road io deiriolish the <br />existing 5,500-square-foot building and replace it with a new parking area and <br />landscape strips at 61 80 and 6220 Stoneridge Mall Road, subject to the conditions <br />shown in !~:xhibit "l3 _" attached hereto and made part of this case by rct arence. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />
