The proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under <br />which it would be operated or maintained will not be detrinicntal to the <br />public health, safety, or welfare, or materially injurious to the properties or <br />improvements in the vicinity_ <br />Based on the comirients front other agencies and neighbors as well. as the [division <br />of City Traffic Engineering, the operation of a large family daycare home in the <br />single-family residential area is appropriate_ The proposed large family daycare <br />home is consistent with the purpose and objectives of single-family residential <br />areas when the site design enables proper parking and circulation. Therefore, this <br />second finding can be made. <br />3 _ The proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable <br />provisions of Chapter 1 8. ] 24 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br />The proposed conditional use will comply with all applicable sections of <br />C7hapter 18.724 o£the Pleasanton Municipal Code and meets all applicable <br />standards. Therefore, this £mding eau be mada_ <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed conditional use would be <br />compatible with the existing uses in the area. <br />NOW., TI-lEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF "THE C7ITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES "fHE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1 . Approves Case PDUP-7, the application of Douglas and Patricia Sutton for a <br />conditional use permit to expand an existing small family daycare home to <br />operate a large family daycare home licensed for up to 14 children at an existing <br />residence located at 5574 Paseo Navarro, subject to the conditions shown in <br />Exhibit "F3," attached hereto and made part of this case by raferance_ <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days aRer its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time_ <br />
