PLANNIN ~: COMMISSION CITY Ot-' PLEASANT'ON <br />A LAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO_ PC-2005-14 <br />RESULUTION APPROVING "I"I-IE APPLICATION OF FRANK BERL,OGAR FOR DESIGN <br />RTVIEW APPROVAL, AS Fii.ED UNDER CASE PDR-336 <br />WHEREAS, Frank Bcrlogar has applied for design review approval to construct an <br />approxiiriately 2,290-square-foot caretaker unit and three accessory structures that <br />include: (1J a building containing an approximately 900-square-toot wine barn, a <br />900-square-foot wine cellar, and an approximately 1,776-square-Foot garage/shop- <br />(2~ an approximately 1,615-square-foot horse barn; and (3~ an approximately <br />900-square-foot hay barn at the property located at 2200 Vineyard Avenue, in the <br />Vineyard Avenue Corridor Specific Plan Area; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-IIR/OS (Planned Unit Development Hillside <br />Rcsidenti al/Open Space District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of April 7, 2005, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testixaony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Vineyard Avenue Corridor <br />Specific Plan was certified by the City Council in March 1999, acid the California <br />Environmental Quality Act <C]EQA) specifies that individual residential <br />development projects that are prepared pursuant to the requirements of ati adopted <br />specific plan for which an EIR has been prepared and certified are exempt from <br />additional envirorirriental review; further there have been no substantial changes <br />to the prof cet or the circumstances under which the project is undertaken that <br />involved new signif cant environmental effects or substantially increase the <br />severity of previously identit3ed effects, and there is no new information of <br />substantial important not known at the time the EIR was ecrtiF cd regardi ng the <br />project or its effects, mitigation measures, or alternatives; and <br />W77F_REA S, the Planning Clo Sri rt~ission determitted that the proposed project is con sistcni with <br />the appearance of the existing buildings in the area. <br />NUW, TI-IEREFORE, "I'HE YLANNIN Ci CUA4MISSIUN OF "I"I-iE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1.
