<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-008 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF CITY PROPERTY <br />TO CALTRANS FOR INTERCHANGES BUILT FOR THE NORTH <br />PLEASANTON IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (NPID) NO.3 AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL <br />NECESSARY DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THE TRANSFER OF <br />PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton did acquire the land and rights-of way for the construction <br />of interchange improvements on Interstate 580 and Interstate 680 built for the <br />North Pleasanton Improvement District No.3, to wit, the Hacienda Drive, <br />Hopyard Road, Santa Rita Road, and Stoneridge Drive interchanges; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the land and rights-of-way acquired for the interchange improvements will become <br />part of the State transportation system, and it will be necessary to transfer that land <br />and those rights-of way to the State of California Transportation Department <br />(Caltrans); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Caltrans requires that the governing body of the City of Pleasanton adopt a <br />resolution authorizing the transfer of that land and those rights-of-way from the <br />City of Pleasanton to Caltrans. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOL YES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The transfer of all land and rights-of-way from the City of Pleasanton to Caltrans <br />required for the construction of the North Pleasanton Improvement District No.3 <br />interchanges is hereby authorized. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and submit all documents <br />necessary for the transfer of the aforementioned land and rights-of-way to <br />Caltrans. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
