<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-013 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING MASTER FEE SCHEDULE CONCERNING <br />TAXICAB RATES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 19, 1992, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 92-100 that established <br />a new Master Fee Schedule; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, taxicab rates are enumerated in the Master Fee Schedule; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current taxicab rates were adopted on July 15, 2003; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to the increase in fuel and insurance costs, the taxicab companies in <br />Pleasanton have asked the City Council to increase the rates that they may charge <br />for services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has recommended a 13.64% increase in the flag drop fee and the per mile fee. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section I: The City Council adopts the new taxicab rates as follows: <br /> <br />Flag Drop: $2.50 <br />Mileage: $2.50 <br /> <br />Section 2: The City's Master Fee Schedule, Resolution No. 92-100, shall be amended to <br />incorporate the new taxicab rates stated in Section I as follows: <br /> <br />V. <br /> <br />Police Department <br />A. Special Permits <br />4. Flag Drop <br />Mileage <br />Standby <br /> <br />$ 2.50 <br />$ 2.50 <br />$20.00 <br />
