CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 97-44 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING DESIGN FOR A <br /> MODULAR OFFICE FACILITY AT 200 OLD BERNAL <br /> AVENUE AND ALLOCATING FUNDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 18.72.040 of the Pleasanton Municipal <br /> Code, new construction or the altering of existing structures <br /> in the C-O (Civic Ove~ay) District requires design review <br /> approval by the Planning Commission and the City Council; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the design of the modular facility <br /> at its meeting on April 9, 1996 and recommended approval; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the design of the modular office facility to be located at 200 Old <br /> Bemal Avenue, subject to the conditions set forth in Attachment A, <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves an expenditure of $166,537.64 ($159,037.64 for purchase of the <br /> modular plus a $7,500 contingency) for the purchase of the modular facility <br /> from Mobile Modular; $65,000 to purchase related interior furnishings; and <br /> $25,000 for on-site improvements including electrical, plumbing, <br /> landscaping, and pedestrian pathway. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the City Manager to sign related purchase documents in a form <br /> approved by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
