Approve the attached contract amendment. <br /> <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the attached contract <br />amendment. <br /> <br />3. Approve the expenditure of an additional $73,142.00 from the <br />available budgeted project funds. <br /> <br />Based on the preliminary design, there is a need for additional design <br />. services to complete the projects. Additional services consist of: <br />relocating the Pimlico Water Turnout Station site; additional potholing <br />(exploratory excavations) to accurately determine potential existing utility <br />locations that may conflict with the water pipeline aligmnents; building <br />and vault locations; design for corrosion protection against corrosive <br />soils; the preparation of easement and survey documents for easement <br />dedication by the Zone 7 Water Agency to the City of Pleasanton; the <br />design of a remote operational motorized control valve station on Santa <br />Rita Road; and additional design and bid support. <br />
