CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 97-38 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br /> (ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR <br /> CITY STREETS) TO REMOVE ON-STREET <br /> PARKING ON JOHNSON AND BRADLEY DRIVES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 76-79 (A <br /> Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time mended Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 6, 1997, the City Council received and discussed a <br /> report (SR 97: 146) from the Director of Public Works related to a request to <br /> remove on-street parking on Johnson and Bradley Drives; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution No. 76-79 to add <br /> subsection 6j-3 and 6b-4 to Section 6 (No Parking Zones). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for <br /> City Streets) is hereby amended by adding subsection 6b-4 and 6j-3 to <br /> Section 6 to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "6b-4 Bradley Drive, on both sides from Stoneridge Drive to Johnson <br /> Drive. <br /> <br /> 6j-3 Johnson Drive, on both sides from its southern intersection with <br /> Franklin Drive to 230 feet north of Franklin Drive." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
