CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 97-20 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF EARLY LEARNING INSTITUTE FOR REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL TO CONSTRUCT AND OPERATE A PRIVATE ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL FOR 200 CHILDREN, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-96-19 WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 18, 1997, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for the application of Early Learning Institute for rezoning from the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - MDR (Medium Density Residential) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - P/I (Public/Institutional) District and development plan approval to allow the construction and operation of a private elementary and middle school for up to 200 children, consisting of three buildings -- 11,064 sq.ft., 8,692 sq.ft., and 16,800 sq.ft. in size, on a 3.51 acre site located on the northerly side of Stoneridge Drive between Stone Pointe Way and the Zone 7 pump station site; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated February 26, 1997, and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the oppommity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning and development plan; and the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the proposed rezoning and development plan would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
