CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-19 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN AD HOC <br />CITIZENS COMMITTEE REGARDING PONDEROSA <br />HOMES' PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has proposed an ad hoc citizens committee, comprised of <br />representatives of the neighborhood interest groups potentially affected by <br />the development of the Busch property, to work with the developer <br />(Ponderosa Homes) and develop a proposal for Council to review as an <br />alternative to the options identified to date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 18, 1997, Council reviewed the staff report (SR <br />97:86) presented by the Director of Planning and Community Development <br />setting forth the proposed process; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The following process is approved for the ad hoc committee: <br /> <br />General community meeting - open to all and advertised (planned to <br />be held March 11, 1997). <br /> <br />Community establishes logical "neighborhoods of interest," <br />approximately four in number, and selects among themselves two <br />representatives of each to form the ad hoe committee neighborhood <br />representatives. <br /> <br />The ad hoc committee will be comprised of the developer and <br />neighborhood representatives; City staff will provide assistance as <br />necessary. <br /> <br />Committee meetings shall be open to all and notice sent to the <br />neighborhoods of interest. <br /> <br /> <br />
