CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-17 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A <br />CLAIM WITH THE METROPOLITAN <br />TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR <br />ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORTATION <br />DEVELOPMENT ACT FUNDS AND WITH ALAMEDA <br />COUNTY FOR MEASURE B FUNDS FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 1997-98 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Transportation Development Act (TDA), as amended (Public Utilities <br />Code, Section 99200 et seq.), provides for the disbursement of funds from <br />the Local Transportation Fund of the County of Alameda for use by eligible <br />claimants for the purpose of community transit services of Pleasanton <br />residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to the provision of the TDA, as amended and pursuant to the <br />applicable rules and regulations thereunder (21 California Administrative <br />Code, Sections 6600 et seq.), a prospective claimant wishing to receive an <br />allocation from the Local Transportation Fund shall file its claim with the <br />Metropolitan Transportation Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the claim proposes to continue an existing program utilizing existing <br />equipment, manpower, and routes and proposes minor addition of services <br />and is, therefore, considered exempt from the requirements of the Califomia <br />Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />TDA funds from the Local Transportation Fund of Alameda County and <br />Measure B funds will be required by claimant in Fiscal Year 1997-98 for <br />community transit services. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
